Hi, could anyone tell me what access credit companies (and their insurance companies) are entitled to your personal information, i.e bank balances and bank records etc. We have an issue where by we have been unable to pay balances due to ill health, and although covered by the insurance policies, we are being asked to offer bank account details etc to prove lack of income. Can they do this? Are we obliged to offer the information?
any help will be greatly received.
