I think i have the most difficult setup in the world. First of all we have are sky box downstairs and then it is streamed upstairs thanks to coax cable in to 2 bedrooms then in one bedroom the coax cable is plugged in to the freeview box and another wire is plugged into the freeview box going in to the tv in the bedroom this is for sky streaming now im wondering where to fit the magic eye ive tried everwhere but the light aint coming on. BTW the RF outlet is on
Thanks

AFAIK the coax that you run from your sky box to upstairs getsplugged into a socket on the magic eye, and the magic eye gets plugged into the aeriel socket on your tv, or thats how mine is set up, could you not do the same but instead of plugging the magic eye into the aeriel port on the tv, just plug it into the freeview box instead?Take every day as it comes!!0

You need to have DC continuity for the magic eye to work.
If you are splitting your two co-ax feeds with an amplifier then this will block the DC and result in the magic eye not working.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Sounded straightforward to me.They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0

biggest assumption we're all making is that you have got the wire connected to 2nd RF output and not the 'normal' one, and that you have turned on the power to the RF sockets by pressing:-
1. Enter the Installer Menu by pressing Services, 4, 0, 1, SELECT;
2. Select "RF Outlets";
3. Switch the "RF Outlet Power Supply"-option to "ON".
4. "Save New Settings"
If you have tried all of the above then google for a "SkyLink splitter" or something as most dont pass the DC voltage through them, but they do exist..0
