Gü Barbados Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

This promotion is only open to UK and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Gü and their immediate families, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

To enter: complete your details and you will be entered into the prize draw. Closing date for receipt of entries is 11am on 24th October 2008. The winner will be selected from all the eligible entries in a random draw conducted by PromoVeritas Ltd, the independent promotional verification service, soon after the closing date of 24th October 2008. Winner will be notified by 31st October 2008 by post or email.
The prize is for 2 people travelling and staying together. It includes two return Virgin Atlantic Economy flights from a UK airport to Barbados, and 7 nights accommodation at Little Good Harbour Hotel, Shermans, St. Peter, Barbados, West Indies, in a one bedroom garden cottage with breakfast and dinner included, for travel between 1st November 2008 and 24th June 2009. We will also include transfers to and from the airport in Barbados and a massage for each person in their hotel room. (In the event of a winner being selected from the ROI, the promoter will arrange economy flights, from an airline of our choice, between the ROI and nominated UK airport).
UK transfers & UK internal flights, other meals, adequate travel insurance (mandatory) and others costs are not included and are the responsibility of the winners.
The prize is as stated in these terms and no cash alternative will be added and the prize is not transferable to family members or any other named person.
The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and their travelling companion have valid passports & any other visas or other documentation required to enter Barbados.
Travel dates are subject to availability but exclude: 15th December 2008 – 15th January 2009, 1st February 2009 – 28th February 2009, and 12th March 2009 – 3rd April 2009. All travel must be completed by 24th June 2009.
The Prize is only valid for flights on the Barbados route operated by Virgin Atlantic and tickets are non-transferable to any other airline, including any of Virgin Atlantic's codeshare partners and have no cash value.
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles will not be awarded for travel under this promotion and no upgrades are possible.
All flights are subject to availability and capacity control: Popular dates (i.e. weekends, school and public holidays) will fill quickly and Virgin Atlantic cannot guarantee availability on some dates. Availability for use of Prize Tickets is limited for each flight. Some flights may already be booked and consequently have no seats available for this promotion.
Tickets are issued in accordance with, and travellers shall abide by Virgin Atlantic's published Conditions of Carriage, which are available from any Virgin Atlantic office. Virgin Atlantic flight schedules are subject to change without notice.
In event of an infringement of these Terms & Conditions or Virgin Atlantic's Conditions of Carriage by the prize winner or their companion, Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to withdraw the right to further tickets.
Once a booking has been confirmed no changes are permitted. If a booking is cancelled no alternative tickets will be issued and the tickets for that calendar year will be deemed to have been used. For the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.
Once the flight tickets have been issued, Virgin Atlantic, shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Virgin Atlantic.
Winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by the Promoter or by its agencies.
