Hi wonder if any computer literature peeps can help me. I'm trying to work out how I can move son's Xbox and digital tv from his playroom to his bedroom without it costing me an arm and a leg.
At present I have Virgin Media for his tv (and broadband on computer which I want to keep downstairs) but last time I enquired (when they were Blueyonder) they advised if I want another tv it would cost another £25 per month.
He also would like to move his Xbox Live game to his room and asks said maybe he could get a wireless network adaptor? but if he's got no aerial for the tv in his room won't this render the Xbox Life unplayable?
Help!

You dont have to have a TV aerial to play an Xob 360 - you only need this if you want to have TV. So basically you could get a wireless adapter for the Xbox (offical ones are available) and you would be fine. Then you need to sort out getting the virgin media in his room. Im not the expert in this area but I thikn its easier if hes tv is linked up to the original box (like a splitter) and then both TVs watch the same channel. If you wanted him to be able to watch his own channels you will have to buy an extra box and pay the extra £25 i guess.0

I have a router sat next to my pc and a network cable going from that to the Xbox upstairs. this cable passes the TV in my lounge and alongside it I have sent a coaxial cable coming out of my Virgin box to my bedroom TV enabling me to play Xbox live and watch the same channel that is on downstairs.0
