Tempting for my Sky+., did you have to do anything before you put it in your Sky+ like low level format ?
And whats the noise like on the unit cant stand a noisy Sky+ box0 -
What's the make of your Sky+ box? (Pace/Amstrad V1,V2 etc)

Local Aldi has 3. Unsure if to go snap them up, and sell on eBay.
Dont know if i could ship them out, unsure as dont wanna tie £150 up in 3 things i dont need.0 -
Aldi does take debit cards. They don't take credit cards. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Just added my new 250Gb ALDI HDD to my PC. I would normally have partitioned and then formatted the disk in DOS (takes ages and is fiddly).
I looked up the WesternDigital website and downloaded a utility that does it all from Windows.
It partitioned and formatted the drive in about 30seconds flat.
It also checks whether your PC is set to handle drives > 137GB and sorts it if not.
It also allows you transfer the whole of your existing main boot drive to the new drive.
All from within Windows!
A really handy wee utility.

pick the following file ('Data Lifeguard Tools 11 for Windows' ) from the list, download and then run it in Windows - it will do the rest for you.
Apologies if this is old news - hope it helps someone.
