Thanks for that - I signed up with them in April and knew they where the last to increase prices at the time. Oh well, just have to see how it goes

Sadly no, I am in the process of changing from them as I wanted to go onto a capped tariff and they don't offer that. I have no complaints about their service and one of the good points of being with them was that on the anniversary of joining them I got a months payments refunded to me - apparantly this would have continued every year - not sure if this is restricted to certain tariffs or what - I wasn't aware that I would be getting a refund until I saw it in my bank account :T

How large was your refund ? that + they must be far cheaper than any of the capped tariffs ?

Im only saying because they `allegedly` arent planning any more increases this year  and they have a good history of price rises in comparison to the big boys...

They are 1 of the "big boys" as they are part of Scottish and Southern. They refund is paid back is the equivalent of the monthly Direct Debit amount, i believe an average of the previous 12 months if the Direct Debit amount has changed during the year.

Less than 2 weeks ago, I remember you saying something about being fearful of switching to Ebico because of their partnership with SSE

...and now you've switched to SSE, albeit under their atlantic name

The 'refund' is the average last 12 months payments you have done. So if you pay £10 every month for 12 months; you would get £10 in Month 13(?)

    That how I understand it
