    Hiya,

Why not try Long Tall Sally, they are for lucky ladies with 34-36" legs and do maternity too. There are a couple of their bits om ebay - i just checked.

    WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbs
    Weight today = 17st 6.5lbs
    Loss to date 32.5lbs!!!
  • I'd just like to say don't be put off by Next's XL being a 33" - it is to fit a 33" leg. I wear a 36" length and Next is usually plenty long enough. I wish they had done an XL in maternity when I was pregnant.

I lived in a pair of Top Shop maternity combat trousers. They took me from slightly podgy to HUGE pregnant so were greast value as I found most of my clothes only fitted either in the early/mid or mid/later stages. Most of their maternity stuff goes to a 34" leg and you can buy online too. It's good value for money too.

I bought Next maternity jeans in the sale. The lengths were laughable. I bought a 'Long' pair which I had to fold up and wear like clam-diggers. The XL pair I could only wear with flat shoes as they were really threatening to ankle swing. For £11 and £13 respectively, I wasn't really complaining.

I forgot - Formes are expensive but do beautiful clothes. The trousers are made long and most people have to have them turned up. I had one piece for each of my pregnancies, just to make me feel a bit more respectable. Unfortunately, no clothes could save me from what having a girl did to my hair!

As boots are in this season (again) can't you turn up some trousers and wear cropped trousers with boots?

  • If you don't mind buying secondhand maternity clothes you could try this website:

    http://www.9monthsandmore.co.uk/maternity_wear.htm

The trousers are usually listed with the inside leg measurement in cm, and they are quite cheap.

I ordered a pile of clothes from them, and they were very efficient and helpful. Obviously as with buying anything online not all of it was suitable, and I kept about half of it and returned the rest and got a refund on the clothes I didn't keep.
  • Thanks to everyone for your replies. So far I've been living in some M&S's longest length trousers as they are really streatchy. If I get desperate I'll have to think about mail order, but it can be such a pain. Got some sale stuff from Blooming Marvelous and most had to go back. However got a tankini swimsuit from Mothercare World in the next big town and only paid £5 something for it!

I got 34" smart black trousers from Dorothy Perkins. Not too expensive either compared to some shops. I think they were about £25.

when i was pregnant, and it was fab as it allowed me to wear all my usual skirts and trousers right up until the birth.

it doesn't look great, but under longline tops or tunics noone will ever know.
