Although good intentioned, this is an advert for your own services and MSE has strict rules on posts that promote things for personal gain. Advice is good in the context of answering other users posts, but the above just looks to be self promotional.

SPAM is not allowed on these boards and your post smacks of self promotion of your services somewhat. Not having a go but others will so you need to be a bit careful in your wording otherwise the Hoxton Though Police will be reporting your post to the moderators.

On a lighter note, welcome to the boards. :)
  • Sorry! Will sort out later inbetween jobs!

IMO Clifford systems are among the best - although the prices for the systems go up quite alot only for adding on simple features which most people would not want or use (like extra remote buttons for controlling things). The Directed Electronics (the umbrella company of Clifford) 508D proximity sensor does occasionally false alarm (warn away usually, occasionally full alarm)) - it appears to do it when the weather's about to make a turn for the worse. The shock sensor is quite good but needs to be set on full sensitivity. Also, prices of thatcham approved systems are quite significantly increased, and I believe rarely attract much of an insurance discount.
  • Hi yes clifford are good alarms if you want to add lots of extras but lots of other manufacturers have xtras or add-ons available. IMO Clifford has the safest and most reliable remote start option. At the end of the day all the insurance company want is a thatcham approved system fitted by a qualified installer.

Just make sure when you have a security system fitted its done by a qualified person. You make sure you have a corgi registered person when you have a gas cooker fitted !!! Same goes for security systems there are plenty of cowboys out there!!!
