Correct £125 as opposed to £350. However my confusion has come from the bill showing the calculation including the metric conversion factor, but in the actual calculations this is not applied. I just followed the algorithm shown, rather then working back the calculations that they had applied on my last monthy bill.

On now going back to the last bill the actual calculation excludes the meric conversion, but the description of how to perform the calculation includes it.

It is not uncommon (at all) to find a supplier billing for imperial on a metric meter, so double and triple check they are billing you meter readings as m3 not 100's of Cu Ft.

 I have a poll / discussion on Economy 7 / 10 off-peak usage (as a % or total) and ways to improve it but I'm not allowed to link to it so have a look on the gas/elec forum if you would like to vote or discuss.

Sorry Premier, hadn't seen your post.

My calcs were against a 10% discount on the Click 4 tariff. Looking at U switch NP v BG(5) is £1129 v 1222, so you are correct around £90.

I never know which supplier we are supposed to be bashing each week, so tend to go on based on price and hope that it will work out. I think whatever you do with Utilities is a gamble, so I'm appy with my choice, but will bear in mind the discount being in arears.

And MP, I will go back and check my other bills just in case.

    Thanks

rb157 , i think you need to read the gas sculpt thread on npower m8. You will find that they practice tariff years, ie a year is a few to several months that you will pay max of 4572, and are being investigated by energy watch and ofgem for this.

comparison sites do not take account of this !!
