Silkies Enriche Free Moisturiser Scam

I signed up on a website for a free Moisturiser sample which arrived today and can't remember seeing anything on there which might have commited me to agreeing to pay any money. However, the free sample and a free Eye Stick arrived this morning together with a form requesting me to send £13.98 (£11.99 + £1.99 post & packaging) for the moisturiser. The so-called invoice sent to me is very confusing
Was this a freebie mentioned on this forum? I can't remember now where I saw it.
I'm not going to pay it and will be returning the products to them. I will also send details of this to my local Trading Standing Department.
Has anybody else been caught by this apparant SCAM and if so, what did they do about it?

I had the same thing happen to me today - got home to find a "Welcome Pack" and a demand for money for something I never ordered.
Bad marketing and I won't be buying from them.0 -
I received an unrequested free sample of moisturiser closely followed by a larger tube and request for payment.I e-mailed several times quoting what I had read on here,no response.I then posted 5 copies of the e-mail in seperate envelopes to the freepost address I found on here.I have today received a letter confirming I owe no money and the account is closed! It also tells me my credit status has not been affected! This company are a nightmare,I dread to think how many people are intimidated by them and are frightened into paying up.Sobriety delivers everything Alcohol promised.
Alcohol free since May 23rd 2003.0 -
Hi, is there any up to date information on how to get rid of these cowboys?
My 80 year old mum has just received the moisturiser and wrinkle stick along with the bill for £13.98. Funny how it's always elderly people they send to!0 -
MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.:hello:0 -
Got sent some of this enriche stuff today and so did my mum. I usually send for freebies for mum and I from hotukdeals site but I have done a search there and there is nothing for enriche. It says on the letter that I should have received the free sample that I requested a few weeks ago. I have been out of the country and not ordered anything for the past month. I am guessing that when filling in a form for another freebie they have sold the list to enriche
Anyway, how do I not pay for this stuff. Do I have to send it back. They have sent me a invoice for £11.99 + £2.49 p&p :mad:0 -
Cant believe mum and I were the only two people on mse site recently sent these moisturisers and invoice:eek:0

No, you're not. I received an offer from this company through the post. I remember thinking that I'd order the samples (I believe you could via a website but can't be 100% sure) but was a bit reluctant as I'd never heard of the company or the product.
Decided to read the small print and realised that the ordering of the free sample was also agreeing to a regular monthly delivery of the skincare, which of course you would be invoiced for.
Bit annoyed that I nearly fell for it. Not a scam really but a little murky.....0
