You'll be able to rent it out to a family of five by Christmas....come to think of it when we can't afford to run our cars anymore they will make temporary accomodation for people who's houses have been repossesd. AxDon't believe everything you think.
Blessed are the cracked...for they are the ones who let in the light. A x0 -
Nah, but we are going on a carriage driving course....even cutting back on expenditure we like to do it i style. (Only, those carriages are really expensive!)0

Yes, and I'm going to paint it but I plan to get a donkey to help.0

Actually there is an old fellow who lives up near my parents who has taken to going about with a donkey and cart/trap. Mind you he started doing that over a year ago.
It brings the children out as well as saves him money. I don't know how much it costs to keep a donkey though but I think he lives on a farm or something like that.0 -

Are donkeys good with a paintbrush. then?:p
I had never heard the expression 'going to hell in a handcart' untill the other day, now I keep reading it everywhere someone is talking about the economy.
........wonder if it is worth investing in a couple of handcarts? May rent them out for a while and then sell them when I retire - with this kind of demand prices can only keep going up.....
*disappears off to google for handcart companies0 -

Donkeys cost about the same as a small Native breed pony to keep. They are not 'waterproof' like horses and need dry shelter for inclement weather. They need regular worming (or another good appraoch to parasite control) and egg counts, and they are not comparitively expensive to feed. Their feet need trimming every 4-7 weeks. Like other equines, they should not be kept alone but in pairs at least. They are dear creatures, I like them very much, but I'm looking for something a bit nippier :cool:0 -
