Help with entitledto

Am trying to see what entitlement my old dears are eligible for.
Okay, Dad gets DLA (high rate for care/mobility). At the moment my Mum is on IB and her SSP from her employer is due to finish this month. Dad gets Occ Pen of £430.00 per month. Have told Dad to apply for Pension Credit when Mum's final pay comes through (it's been half pay for 6 months) as he is 60.
I have been entering their details on site...when it is this question
How much do you pay in charges, ground rent and other housing costs (£ per week)?
Do I put in the mortgage payment that they are paying? If I do then the total benefits comes to over £300.00 per week which seems awfully high. I know DLA is not counted but the IB is £74.00 per week and Dad's pension is £110.00 per week or so.
But then if I put £0.00 in, then the payment is just under £50.00 per week which seems awfully low.
I did think that maybe the first figure is correct and Dad is getting a premium because of his disability status.
Anyone help me out? I'd like to give them some kind of answer as I know they are worried.
Thanks in advance.

What are their mortgage payments?Gone ... or have I?0

£280.00 per month on a £23K mortgage and my Mum (actually my Stepmum is 48), £100 per month for C/Tax0

Was there not a separate box for the mortgage and council tax amounts?
Charges are usually service charges and ground rent.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Yes. They ask for council tax and then they ask for 'outstanding loan amount on your home' and then also the above.
That's what I thought too but it's the 'other housing costs' that are throwing me.
I just thought they would have got more Pension Credit what with Dad's disabilites. Also according to the site, they would get full C/T benefit and the £50.00 quoted includes a payment towards their mortgage. Thought they would have got more. I was hoping for a happy medium between the 2 amounts really.0 -
It just upsets me as it's one thing for me to number crunch in my head all the time to keep on top of things but breaks my heart that they are worrying about money especially with the 2 of them so poorly

Ignore that box unless they pay a service charge on the property.
I have just tried to work through the scenario, and entitledto doesn't like it because of the two people falling under two possible benefits (WTC and PC). I'm not sure how DWP assess this situation (it could be as simple as it depends on who is the main claimant on the forms!).
Another point to clarify - you say that your mum is on IB but being paid SSP - she can't be getting both at the same time?Gone ... or have I?0 -
She's getting half pay from work. She was getting full pay when she first went off and that was for 6 months. When she went onto half pay she was told to apply to IB which she was sucessful getting. So for the past 6 months she has been on half pay and IB. Come last pay this month she will only be on IB.0
