The big kicker-in-the-teether is people arn't even re-assesed on change or circumstances unless they asked to be. 3 bed coucil house? Kids flown the lnest 20 years ago? Don't worry, you can keep the 3 bedder whil a family of 6 lives in a B&B.
Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.

squatnow - that's exactly one of the points I tried to make(without ranting too much to make it intelligible). Completely wrong, IMHO.

I live in social housing and although I would be over the moon at being offered something like that, it would be tempered with guilt over the other residents having to struggle to pay an extremely high mortage each month.

Put honestly...... I wouldn't be happy with myself and would find it difficult to live in that sort of situation.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
