Price promise

Hi
Last week I ordered a hot tub. The info clearly states the following:
'we promise to refund double the difference in the unlikely event of you finding another new spa of the same quality and model within 28 days of purchase. Claims must be supported by a written quotation from another dealer'
I have found another dealer & have emailed him who has then confirmed that he will sell a new tub (exact model) for £100 cheaper, although he is not local to me (would this make a difference albeit this is not stated in the price promise statement).
My dilemna - I have only paid a deposit with balance due prior to delivery/installation. Does the 28 days go from order or delivery?? As delivery will be after 28 days...so in a nut shell do I send the letter now & risk her saying well its your choice if you buy the tub or not or do I sort out when delivered.
Is this a trading standards query?? At the end of day I want this tub but the company have given a price promise & its a matter of priciples!!

I don't understand why you're worrying.
Write to her or pop in with the quote and fingers crossed she will honour the price promise.
I'd be asking questions about what to do if she said no but you haven't asked yet! But yes, you should be able to contact Trading Standards if she says no.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
