Hello

I have recently bought a dell Dimension 5100 as standard and I am looking to set up my own edit suite at home where I can edit on Avid DV Express and also watch what I am editing on a small TV screen-so that I can see what it will look like when it goes on TV. I need the system to be fast and reliable.

I need advice as to what I would need i.e video cards and also cables to hook up the output of my PC to a TV. What sort of TV would I need? Standard or one with a special socket?

Also Any other Advice as in what other accesories I may need would be greatly appreciated as I am a PC novice.
