Hi, not being that technical minded I was wondering if anyone can help me.
I think I need to reset my Time PC back to factory settings and reload my stuff.
Does anyone know as I cannot seem to find it anywhere in the literture or on the PC

what is wrong with your pc ?, you may not need to reinstall.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

You're opening up a whole big can of worms and other crap here if you're not a PC expert!
A few questons:
1 As CIS says, what is wrong with the PC?
2 Did your PC come with any CDs - if so, what do these say on them?
3 Do you have files on the PC which need saving and if so do you have the ability to transfer them someplace (eg. a writeable CD, USB drive, other computer networked to yours, MP3 player)?
4 What Windows do you use?
5 Do you know anyone technically-minded who might be able to help you?
6 Do you have access to another PC with the internet while doing it (in case you need help half-way through)?0 -
press delete when prompted when you switch your computer on (some point during boring start up screens). to access bios.
tip toe carefully through potential actions and look for something similar to restore to factory settings.
my comp allows me to switch on, tap f10 repeatedly until the system recovery option appears and then gives me 3 choices, depending on what i need to do depends on the option i need
 warning!!!!! do this only if you are sure :mad:fatblokexl:EasterBun:0 -
Time didn't automatically supply recovery software unless you took out one of their expensive warranties or paid extra for it, as I later found out. I created my own Windows ME recovery disc by copying the set up files from the PC which allowed me to reinstall Windows, however, I don't think this is possible with every OS.This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
