Hi - I was wondering if anyone can recommend a nice but good value guesthouse/B&B for a short stay in the Lake District (Keswick, Ambleside etc). I will be there in July.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Found this on Travelzoo.com for £49.50 per person, per night, half board.

try https://www.highwrayfarm.co.uk - I have just recommended this place in another thread. They do a cottage (always booked up) and also offer B&B. Located between Hawkshead and Ambleside - https://www.highwrayfarm.co.uk0

Its in Keswick, 5 mins walk to the town centre max and opposite the pencil museum.
No problems at all, very comfortable and a great full english in a morning.

That looks nice - good location that too
I stayed here - but further North than the OP was asking about - has rooms with views over Lake Bassenthwaite (the only Lake in the Lake District)
Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -

Not a b&b but lovely apartments that I have stayed in frequently, bridge house complex in keswick is right on the edge of town and I highly recommend them.
Whatever you decide have a lovely time keswick is lovely.
Kind regards,
