HELP! where can I go to look for last minute bargain deals?

Hello

I am looking to go away the week beginning 10th of October. Not looked online that much before but when i type in last minute deals i just get bombarded by loads of websites that aren't really giving me what I am looking for. There are loads of deals for nov-jan but not October.

I am am also not sure if to book a package or book flights and hotel seperate-any ideas?

Looking for a cheap holiday bargain break where the weather is good at this time of year. Oh did I mention I dont know where to go either? Sorry to be vague been surfing for 3 hours and no joy so I need help please. So if you know of any good websites or other sources please let me know.

I usually find that it's normally cheaper to book flights and hotel separately. For instance I've just paid around £700 for an identical holiday (same dates/flights/hotel/board/room type) as one that Thomsons are selling for £1450. My flight was actually with Thomsons as well!!

Lastminute.com and Expedia are often about 10% higher than prices found on these websites AND they both charge a booking fee!


Another tip, try booking direct with the hotel via their website. This is usually easiest on some of the 'group' hotels, such as:

H10 https://www.h10hotels.com
Barcelo https://www.barcelo.es
Sol https://www.solmelia.com

Most big hotel companies have online booking. Just have a search on Google etc.

You can sometimes get lucky on the likes of Thomsons website and find accomodation for your chosen dates as low as £1/room/night.
