For the full-fat boxed package, you should expect to pay £60-£70, but you could instead look around for an OEM copy for around £25 less.

I think that's Works (not Works suite) and therefore doesn't include Word. This is the link for Works suite but it's more expensive, £41.96 plus p&p, so the edition of Word 2000 is cheaper.

Mind me asking how?
However large organisations have a commercial arrangement with M$ for multi-user licences which are considerably cheaper. As an extension of this volume licensing arrangement, if your organisation requires you to occasionally work from home they can set-up what M$ calls the 'Home User Program.' It is an extension of the organisation's volume licence and allows you to receive a free CD key. All you pay for is the cost of the software CD and p + p. I got a full copy of Office 2003 Professional for £17 compared with the over £300 retail for a single user.
Organisations that I know participate are:
NHS
Ministry of Defence
Education Authorities
