Low Fat Options

..... but they're NOT better than normal options because they are looking at the overall fat rather than the bad fats such as 'saturated'.

I check the healthier options against the normal products and half the things I buy are the normal products because the fat content is lower!!!!

  • Don't forget low fat = high sugar and low sugar = high fat it's the only way they can counteract the salt content and make it taste reasonable.

Healthy option type meals tend to be just smaller portions.

The only true way to monitor fat levels is to make the food yourself using freash (and generally healthier) ingredients.
Most things in life are easy it's just doing them well that's difficult !!!!!!!!!! :D:D
  • Low fat stuff tends to be loaded with sugar or sweeteners and often "regular" products that arn't marketed for the diet industry are low in fat naturally, it really is worth checking the nutritional value of stuff and not relying on those "low-fat" claims.
