I first found them via link from another website and googled in 'how to make pickled bums'.............loads of sites came up with instructions but I think the link given here www.craftbits.com was about the clearest.
Very fiddly to do (well for my ageing fingers.......lol ) but I've managed 4 so far (thats bums not jars of them..........lol)

Hi Mary - that was the site I saw them on also with the 'smelly' and 'beach' varieties!!!!

Think I may get my niece interested inmaking them also!!!! She would like to give them as gifts!!!

Now have to find someone who wears tights!!!!

kast year i made alot of tote bags which went down a treat for spressents and were very cheap to make using end of lines and sale items at fabric shops and make up bags/wraps for the teenagers,

this year i plan to do some more tote bags as they are very useful especially with more shops trying to charge for carriers bags and people being more green, also to do comfort blankets for those cold days curled up on the sofa

    Hi,
Just found this idea on a web site, for a joke gift for someone,
Wrap 2 x AA Batteries - and include a note "Gift not included"
    :D

Fantastic Candy! Shame you are not a day earlier that would have gone down brilliant at OH's friends birthday party last night ... he would have seen the humour! Still gives me some time to do some others for him for christmas.

    Snowman soups
Actually, can I pick your brains? I have bought a gorgeous organic, hand decorated photo album for my step mum, what can I put with it to make up a basket? Cant include smellies or food though...

    What are snowman soups please

Could you add disposable camera, nice photo frame or one of those collage type frames, small notebook and pen, if she has a printer how about some photo paper
