Tax Credits - Completing the Forms

We have just received our Tax Credit forms for the coming year. As before, our income will mean that we don't quality for any tax credits which is as it should be. Furthermore, I'd like to save the civil servants the time for checking our forms, so my questions is, "Do we have to complete them?" i.e. can we decline to claim?

You can choose not to complete the forms if you wish and your claim will be terminated. HOWEVER if you received any payments from 6th April 2008 you will be asked to pay them back. Also if you have any overpayments for earlier years they will demand immediate repayment of those too.

By the sounds of it this doesn't apply to you but I thought I would clarify the point for anyone else who wants to end their dealings with TCO.

Thanks for that. We've never received anything and so continued form-filling seems a waste of time.
