Scammed on eBay, what to do next?

In short I've been scammed on eBay for a mobile phone. The buyer made the payment through PayPal I sent the item and the same night PayPal reversed the payment as it was "unauthorised". I provided PayPal with proof of postage but apparently I am ineligible for their seller protection policy. The buyer contacted me through…

I wish I had kept record of the IMEI now so I could do the above. I'll give it a try though as well as sending an official looking demand for payment. Thanks for your help !
