Help - cheap tumble dryer <150 Any Recommendations?

Wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation recently? Looking for a cheap tumble dryer, or recommendations on good internet shop to look at (finance options and low delivery):
Under or around £150
5 or 6kg
do I need a reverse cycle one?
LX Direct are the cheapest but has ANYONE ever bought from them successfully?
Buy now pay later would be better or 0% finance for 3 months or more

The Mrs has bought one from LXDirect recently in the < £150 range. I think she paid £125 and she got £15 off as it was her first order. Due to be delivered Monday. I can let you know if it turns up if you like.

I shall try and remember mate. SWMBO has taken the day off to arrange collection so she'll be mighty miffed if it doesn't turn up, and I pity the fool in customer services who picks up that call

Can't realy help with LX Direct, but re your other questions...

White Knight are cheap but very reliable, as I believe are Crusader. They both get good write ups. I have a white knight A rated one, with reverse action. This I find invaluable as it stops the clothes getting as creased, therefore less/no ironing to do.

Handy money saving tip, if you don't know it. Put a dry towel in with your wet washing - it dramatically reduces the amount of time your washing takes to dry. I keep an old beach towel with the dryer for this purpose and it does work

Had a look and there is a drier 6kg, white Knight one at £137 which you could get at 52 weeks interest free.

Thanks for all the help guys. I was tempted by the Hotpoint Aquarius 6kg with reverse action at Freemans with free delivery and 20% = £169 down to £135 with 0% interest over 50 weeks. But will now go and look at the Littlewood offers.

Dunno what model number she got but it was a White Knight in the end.
