Please could somebody advise me:o
I can access the internet fine and I can click through to another page/site without any problem but as soo as I try to open a new tab everything goes pear shaped!! everything freezes including the page/tab I am currently on and then eventually I get the "not responding/Encountered a problem and has to close window pop up." This happens EVERY time I try to open a new tab,
Have checked my security and eliminated a few blips but this has been happening for about a month now.
Thank you in advance for your help
Kind Regards

I would imagine you are using Internet Explorer. The browser means which program you are using to access the internet (Like you would use Word - a word processor - to write a letter, Outlook Express - an email client - to do emails etc.)
Internet explorer is not the best browser, it is still the most popular, because it is included with Windows. I would suggest going to the Mozilla website and downloading Firefox - it works the same as Internet Explorer and is a lost faster and more reliable.
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/firefox/
Click where it says "Download Now - Free". Then follow the instructions on your screen, if it asks to save or run, click "Run". If Windows tries to warn you it might be dangerous, don't worry, it's not.I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0 -
Thank you Foreversomeday!
Yes I use Interet Explorer. Didn't realise there was an alternative ..... but I do now!
Have downloaded and installed Firefox , Haven't had a chance to use it a great deal yet but first impressions seem to be positive-.O.H. is happy as long as he can still get his beloved Google
Also on a positive note I have been able to keep all my favourites active on this browser too!
Thank you for taking the time to reply I really appreciate it!
