Explorer question

Options
This has annoyed me for years and today is the day (hopefully) I solve it.
When I open Windows Explorer I have the folders on the left, My Documents, My Music etc. but I always have to click My Computer to see all my drives/partitions. But my computer at work always has the drives listed.
How do I do this please?

To some extent, this will depend on how you open Windows Explorer.
Opening Explorer via the Start/Programs method will result in opening the My Documents folder.
Try opening Explorer by holding down the Windows key and then pressing the E key.
Explorer will then open at My Computer with all the drives listed.
Let us know how that goes.
You could also create an Explorer shortcut to start where you require. More information here.

    I know what you mean.

    Click Tools, then Folder Options.

At the top of the Folder Options box there are 2 options:

    - Show common tasks in folders
    - Use Windows classic folders

Select the Windows classic folders option and it will appear as it does at work.
I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right

Thank you both for your reply. To open explorer I click on the stortcut in the quick launch bar I created from copying programs/accessories/explorer.
I tried the tools/folder option but it didn't do the trick. However the Window + E key does work:j
    Thanks again guys.

I tried that for curiosity and got My Computer. I'm interested because there is an important (to me) website where I keep my portfolio and where I have had problems logging in for a long time. One of their bright sparks finally gave me the answer i.e. must use Internet Explorer to get to it. I have WI on my start menu too.
