Advice needed re buyer address

Hi
I hope someone can give some advice here.
I sold an item on Sunday night and received the payment for it yesterday. I also received an email from the buyer asking me to send it to a different address as she was moving house.
Should I send it or doyou think it may be dodgy?
Did think I could send it recorded so it will be signed for as proof she has received it.
ANy advice would be great

Are you hoping for protection under the Paypal Seller Protection programme?
If so,
https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/ua/policy_spp-outside#spp-policy11.3.f You must post the purchased item to the address listed on the “Transaction Details” page, and that address must be identified as a Confirmed Address,"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Maybe you should check her feedback.
If she's a good buyer/seller, then i doubt she's dodgy. But send it by a trackable method anyway, to be on the safe side.0 -
Just ask her to add the new address to paypal, it will automatically show as confirmed.0

If you are sending something recorded or special delivery then you shoul donly send to the confirmed address to be covered against a chargeback. if ti is going standard mail with a certificate of posting it really doesn't matter .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks everyone - I guess I just needed confirmation that I should send it to the confirmed address. I have hcecked her feedback - she has a couple a negatives from a couple of months ago. Not going to take any chances, so will go and email her now and ask her to amend her address on PAYPAL0

If you are paying extra to send it tracked then yes you do need a confirmed address. if buyer's current address is already confirmed tell them they can add whatever other address they want and that will be automatically confirmed as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. make the most of this while you can - in 12 months every buyer will have pristine feedback records, whether they are a habitual scammer or not.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
