HI as you know from a previous post of mine my partner has not long started work after several years illness this is his 3rd week... i have just been to post office and found his incapacity is still being paid he informed everyone on the 23rd may that he would be starting work on the 27th may... i have called them this morning but they said they were not informed... i know they were informed as i had to go to him with all the phone numbers in his lunch break whilst he was doing his work trial so he could ring them all (the only ones we couldnt reach are carers and dla but got hold of them on 27th) what should i do now as they are denying all knowledge of phonecall

I would never trust a phone call in this situation better to have sent a letter which had to be signed for.
Best to put the IB to one side in an account as they will want it back.
Not sure of your best way forward at the moment. But they know now so the benefit should stop.
