  • Dont Know If This Is The Right Place But Can Anybody Direct Me On How To Post An Horrendous Soa Its Got Out Of Control And I Dont Know What To Do Thanks Anybody

Hi builderman - check the post for newbies on the front page of the board, and the SOA sticky too, they are both at or near the top. I'd start a new thread asking for help so people can see you - they'll ask for your SoA and all your debts' APRs and amounts too.
You'll get loads of help and advice! :D

OK, my challenge, and I do need some help and support please! I dont want to start a diary or anything, but would like to update everyone, can I use you all? :D

I am going to take out my shopping money on thursday, £50, and keep it in my purse. I am going to shop only at Aldi, using cash only, and NOT use my card for extras. When the cash is gone, its gone. I am hoping to not only save money, but also petrol as Aldi is walking distance and I will only buy what I can carry in 2 bags. I shall update each day when I do my small stuff here. I am going to do small steps and try a week, see how I go. I hope you dont mind me tagging this on here, but I feel like this daily thread is my 'home' :o

    Today I have:
    • Checked banking - all ok, just, be glad for TCT tomorrow :D
    • Done PB CT and comps
    • Checked for mystery shops - none
    • Picked up over ripe bananas from mum to make banana bread with
    • Only spent £1, which was planned and budgeted for :T:T:T
    • Breakfast and lunch from stores
    • Washed 3 loads on quickwash
    And I will:
    • Do a meal plan
    • Check cupboards and make a list of items needed tomorrow
    • Will airer dry above washing
    • Make banana bread
    • Dinner from stores (HM shepherds pie for OH and kids, not sure about me yet)
Think thats it! I have been getting my head round my challenge, making sure I change how I think. I have also essentially managed a NSD today, very rare :j

Checked online banking....adjusted rent standing order as rent has gone up because of my recent tax credits award  so effectively has wiped out any gain I made from increases in afore mentioned my tax credits:confused: Everything seems two steps forward one step back at mo:wall:
However, I'm going to youngest daughter's prizegiving tonight where she is up for 3 awards so that has made a pretty crap day into a positive, proud evening!:T :rotfl: :j :T

Afternoon to everyone else! Not a bad day for me so far, although am feeling so tired! Hoping to have more of a productive evening than last night's which saw me sat in front of the tv for most of the night:eek: although i was also filling in job applications;)

-Taken money out of savings account, thats not so great, but have around five hundred in free matched bets to take advantage of, so need the money for that. Once i have played through the matched bets the money will be going into my isa instead of the savings account as the isa will pay me better.
    -Have done a mystery shop
-Have posted an ebay item off
-Have looked for more mystery shops but no joy
-Am cooking tea from the storecupboard and trying to get foods eaten up that have been there a while

    -Will do surveys later
    -Will do daily clicks
-Paid a survey cheque into the bank
    -Will sort through emails
-Will sort out clothes on bedroom floor:eek:
    -Work on job applications
    -Work on leaflets for business
    -Place LOTS of matched bets
-Email people to let them know i have sent out their stuff
-Look on ebay for stuff for my business

-Revise for my exam which is next Tues
    -Do boring household jobs
-Sort out bags of paperwork and junk
    -Check online banking

Have a great evening everyone and think that is all for me for now.

Got an interview for a job I really want - it's actually less money, and I'd probably have to give up my part time job (as it's in the same place), but I reckon being happier at work (I currently HATE my job) will encourage me to stop spending money on snacks (when I'm bored) and wine (when I'm stressed)!
