Help locating 500/5488

The missus accidentally binned the faceplate for a friend's headunit :rolleyes:

Desperately need to locate if at all possible one of the 500/5488 Sony CDXGT50UI car audio head units so I can either have some kind soul buy and ship it onto me or have my local branch do a store-to-store transfer ...

Anyone, anyone at all?

Yeah - this is the same one I've been looking for stock in all the NorthWest stores - no joy I'm afraid.

A few years ago I was after something that had been dropped from the previous catalogue, and a nice lady in Argos customer services searched the country for me on her computer and we tracked the nearest stock down to the Stoke Hanley store.

Can they still do that??

I rang Argos CS on two occasions recently and neither operator seemed willing to put forth such an effort on my behalf ... good idea though
