Whats the best student account for 08/09

Hi sorry if this has already been answered but I am going to university in september and was wondering which was the best student account to have i have read martins report on the ones for last year but have they been updated since?

too early to say yet - they won't start advertising all that much until later in the summer, possibly around A level results time or a bit earlier.

Does anyone know then what to put on the student finance form?
As on the form it says to put on the bank account details that you want your student finance to be paid into and the deadline for this is june 27th.
do you use your current bank account and then change it when you get your student one?
Can anyone help?

Yes you can do that.

I just used my current account I have now with HSBC. Got a student account with lloyds and they didn't require loan to be paid into it so didn't have any problems.
