Tidying My Finances

in Savings & investments
Having just made a number of changes to my savings portfolio I have managed to free up £6000 that was doing nothing (I cashed in some premium bonds).

I have maximised my ISA allowance for the year.
I also have some saved in IceSave.

What other options are available to me, I want to expand my limited portfolio?

    You could do various things with it.

    1) Put it into a high-interest bank account and drip feed it into one of the £250pm very high interest deals.
    2) Put it in another fixed rate bond issue.
    3) Put it in an NS+I inflation beating product.
    4) Was going to say premium bonds, but that's where you got it from in the first place!
    5) Blow it all on hats? :)

    Good point! I seem to be seriously underweight on hats.
