Cheapest Way of Building High Spec PC?

Not quite my style, a bit too OTT for me regarding the design.
As far as the quality is concerned, from the 3 reviews I've read it's sounds ok, but isn't without it's faults.
My first choice would still be the Antec Sonata 2. I've yet to find a bad review. Type in "Antec Sonata 2 review" in google and all the top links say it's great.

I've built a housemates machine with the Antec Sonata 1, which is a great case. The 2nd edition only sounds better."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Thanks again, I agree the Aspire X-Cruiser is a bit OTT but I quite like it - I'm really after something which is black with a window... If I'm getting some high spec components I want to be able to show them off right?
The reviews did mention some faults yes, such as the case getting a bit scratched in transit, and how a larger sized PSU would overlap a fan opening. But I'm not sure, the positives seem to outweigh the negatives!
Without the £100 sound card (I can live with the mobo sound for a little while), and opting for a £120 X800GT graphics card as opposed to the 7800GT for £250 (heard the X800GT has got great performance for the price) - I think I've got the price down to about £700 now, so with a 19" TFT it'll still be less than £1000.0
