thankyou again to all . i guess im just feelin sorry for my self today and is nice to no im not the only one in the position , in regards to my mother - i dont drink at all i darn't.
i have turned a few things around but are now feeling like a burden-i am the only one in my family(mothers side) to own a house(mortgaged) i bought it at 20 with oh and i have a car but i get outcasted from those i do speak to as "the posh one" which really annoys me coz there all on benefits (i have no issue with ppl on them who need it) but they do it through choice because are lazy!! but dont have morals when it comes to asking me for money i have only just started to say NO!!!-it feels good.
also my friend who i text yesterday has just text back to say she will pass my cv on to her boss..yey there IS hope
im feeling better just letting it all out so thanks so much for listening and your feedback, i will try and work on the soa, and will buy a test tom! *gulp* xxxDFW AND OS'ER IN TRAINING!!:D

Well if they can't be happy because you're doing better for yourself, then s*d them. Sorry, but tht's my feelings, family or not. Carry on saying no, you ned your cash!
See, things feel better once you get a handle. You're a strong, confident woman, with a future and the gumption to sort out whatever the world throws. You go get em girl!!!This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

there is always hope.
and you are really NOT alone. you can always come on here and post or pm people once you make friends - you have a star so you must be a round a fair bit (((hugs)))
now, don't disappear and don't panic about your SOA, it does all get a bit frightening but those feelings do pass.
just do one thing at a time. go get a pregnancy test would be my choice. just so you know what you are dealing with. then perhaps work out what your debts are.
re job - try temp agencies? just for anything and keep looking for a real job if oyu see what I mean!
you really aren't alone, I can't stress that enough ok?
post soon

There is always hope daisy
It is easier to chat about things openly in cyberspace as no one can judge you in the same way as someone you are close to might.
Chat away!!
The order I would go with would be:
1) Pregancy Test
2) Job
3) Statement of Affairs
4) Joining a local society/getting a bar job (great for meeting new people) so you arent lonely, and extra cash to put to your debt
5) Family problems
:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

Hello Daisy, welcome to the board:j
your post has me in tears now, but I'll stop crying if you will!:A
Don't have much advice really, but I would second the list posted by jam tart.
Just doing one thing at a time is going to make you feel much more positive about tackling everything else. Just one step at a time:j
The other thing I would say is that you can't choose your family, you get what you are given! That does not mean that you have to be like them, as you already know. With the parenting example you had, and your opinion of it, you are going to be a much BETTER parent than you think. (whenever that happens;) )
And as for 'In case anyone is interested I'll update on the test situation' - whatever were you thinking? Of course we're interested!!!!
and whatever the result is, get straight back on here and let us know, and then we'll try to give you some more ideas and support from the vast welath of knowledge & experience on here ( and we're modest too:rotfl: )
Hugs
Sue0
