Hi I bought some ink cartridges from a seller on Ebay so that I could recycle them with Tesco and get the points. He has feedback of 950+ and 100% positive. However when they arrived they were in poor condition with more than half being unsuitable for recyling.(big chips out of them and bent foils etc) The seller described them as ‘’ BEST Quality - All cartridges are in good condition’’ and suitable for ‘Tesco recycling ‘
However they are clearly not as described. The seller has suggested that I return the unsuitable ones and he will ‘credit’ me for the ones I return or I can send them all into Tesco and he will credit me for the ones that fail the test.
If I return the poor ones to him should I expect him to refund part/all the p+p?
Would it be better to return the whole lot? Or as he suggests send the whole lot to Tesco and see what happens.
If I return them to him P+P is very steep £7.xx each way
Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated
TIA

whats the turn around time for tescos?0 -
Be aware that if you don't return the whole quanity to the seller, it'll be left up to you & the seller to come to some mutual agreement over any partial refund (or replacements).
If the seller is agreeing with you that some items are SNAD, you could return the whole quantity and demand a full refund including the original postage cost, but you would have to fund the return postage yourself."Now to trolling as a concept. .... I would sudgest that the seller sends in replacement cartridges on your behalf once you know how many did not get converted to points.
Also, make sure you do not leave positive feedback until you have had all 3000 points added. The seller will not want to loose their 100% record.0 -
Thanks for your replies. The seller emailed me on Friday to say that he will give me a refund for the unsuitable carts. However, up until now (Sunday) I have not received anything from him.
Why is he stalling? He has twice promised replacement carts and now a refund but, still nothing. This has been going on for over a month now.
What can I do now?
Can I claim back my money from paypal or is it too late?
TIA

I think it's up to 45 days to make a paypal claim - so he may be trying to stall you beyond this. I'd put a claim in now, that should get him moving.:www: :: MFi3 ::
