The links haven't vanished, the thread has, but you can see it at http://cc.bingj.com/cache.aspx?q=Regular+Savings+Accounts%3a+The+Best+%20%20Currently+Available+List!&d=4854435746350044&mkt=e%20%20n-GB&setlang=en-GB&w=56r7q2PhtByfiqkvgRVDL2OtemTfrxK-
I think the other thread you refered to ( https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5775223 ) contains all the information any users know about the disappearance of this and other threads.Eco Miser

I have just noticed that the calculator I set up in my own spreadsheet is incorrect.
Essentially it worked out the interest on the month 1 balance then added the interest to the month2 balance then recalculated the new interest and added it to the month3 balance. Etc. I can see that this is giving an underestimate of the actual interest but I can't see what is wrong.
Unless it is to do with daily interest calculation??
I have nicked a formula off the web which is much closer to correct (a few pence) but I cannot see what is wrong with my original approach! Sad old brain is creaking. Help.0 -
The formula I use to work out the max possible interest is:
=SUM(12*E10)*C10/12*6.5
In this case E10 is the max amount per month and C10 is the interest rate in %.
Replace the cell references with your own values and see if it is any closer.0 -
No sign yet of Issue 9 of the Virgin Money Regular E Saver. Has anyone any inside knowledge of a launch date?
Maybe Issue 8 was the last one.0 -

I'm quite disappointed Virgin are remaining at 1% for the Reward saver for maturing regular savers this month. This is less than their (branch) easy saver and their easy access ISAs. Some reward.
I guess they don't want our money to stay with them.Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -
