in Credit cards
hi everyone, i am new to this forum, hope you can help, we are trying to sort ourselves outof our debts, we are currently working hard to clear our credit card debts, but last year my husband bought a camera on a pay later scheme with clydesdale financial glasgow. At the end of may he transferred it to one of our credit cards , ( i know he didn't really need a new camera, but .....)
Clydesdale has deducted the amount twice from the credit card and despite repeated phone calls asking that they credit us with the second amount, nothing is happening, they tell him they have dealt with it or are dealing with it
what else can we do
any advice really welcome, it is really beginning to worry me

Write to Clysdale with the complaint. Phone calls are difficult to prove later what was and wasn't said. If you feel your complaint is not being sorted a written record is much more use when things need to be taken further. Also you could try to get the credit card company to act on the premise that Clysale have charged you for a second camera that you never received and didnt ask for

I would wait until after Monday.
Saturday is not a working day for banks so anything that should be in your account today should show up on Monday.0
