Sun pipes - Anyone had any problems? £ how much?

I am thinking of having a sun pipe installed in an extension we are having, we have restrictions on any windows at the front of the extension, and can only have one small window on the side, so thought a sun pipe will be an ideal option.
Can anyone recommend them, or has anyone had any problems?
What size pipe is best?
Also roughly how much should I expect to pay for one?
