Had An Offer For Item But Only 1 Hour To Go

I am selling 4 football football programmes and the auction ends in 1 hour. Its a standard auction with no bids and one watcher. Somebody has sent me a message asking "how much do I want for the two Liverpool programmes".

I am a little confused as he can bid 0.99p and win all 4 and postage is only £1.20!! As so close to end I cannot add a buy it now if he is unwise enough to pay a higher price. What do you think I should do and how would I handle it that very close to the end of auction???

Thanks

Thanks I have invited him to make an offer or bid on all four within the auction.

He has 0 rating so I dont think he quite understands how it works. Anyway if he makes a large offer can I end listing and send him item when I receive a cheque? Then again this may be unfair on watcher although watcher may not bid or even be him!!

I know I cannot revise listing so close to the end but can I end it near the end???

If you dont mind the risk and he agrees a price to send as a cheque

Well that was not worth all the excitment on my behalf. His first reply was "Sorry m8 not worth the hassle" followed shortly by "Ill give you 50 pence for the 2 Liverpool ones".

I politely declined. Its very odd as he could bid 0.99p and probably win. Why offer 50p?? Anyway it looks like they wont sell which is not the end of the world as would rather keep them than sell for 50p.Although I suppose I may have to accept that they may go for 0.99p.Should really sell bigger things but thought they might be rare as one was Liverpool v Everton 1985 Charity Shield Final and one a 1984 European Cup Quarter Final programme.

Well it gets better. Item did not sell then the person suggests a deal (even though he could have had all 4 for 0.99p). I cannot be bothered with it all so have decided to keep the item and have gladly explained this to the guy who offered 50p.
