Egg card, favourable to self employed?

Just wondering if anyone was aware if Egg Card applications looked favourably on the self employed?

Just been knocked back by tesco card, I have all green payment record and a £25K income.

If not Egg and ideas/recommendations for the self employed?

Thanks.

Try Thomas Cook and BTW you could always create a limited company and then you would be employed by that company.

Go Ltd? Hadn't thought of that. Bit sneaky but fair enough I suppose.

Didn't know Thomas Cook had a card. Might give them a call and see if self employed is an issue. Will try the same with Egg, if i can find a number. Egg seem to be very 'on line' and no phone judging by their paperwork and web site.

It's within the law and that's all that counts. There is a little hassle and a bit of money involved but it gives you a control you've never experienced before.

If you go to egg.com then click on 'Contact us' there's a button for 'Phone us', which takes you to here:

The telephone number for cards is 08451 233 233, or their geographic number is 01332 395 919.
