Ah you see now the problem is I don't actually have the extension. What I do have is code written by someone else that I am trying to modify and some of it is tricky to work out. (Pls dont tell me to get it as I can't for this project as I have no control over budgets).
I want to change the params so that it accepts GIF,JPG etc instead of doc so I changed the pau_extension param to "GIF,JPG,BMP,PNG,JPEG" rather than "DOC" but for some reason it is still validating on DOC. Any idea if I have to change anything else?3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Ok for anyone else who has this problem.
I fixed it by changing the extension parameter pau_Extensions to accept "gif, bmp, jpg, jpeg, png" and then i trawled the code to find the two Javascript calls to CheckFileUpload and CheckOneFileUpload to change the hardcoded parameter from "doc" to "gif, bmp, jpg, jpeg, png".
Now it allows me to upload the correct file type.
Problem with not having the extension software is that Dreamweaver does not do the work for you in changing the hardcoded values once you give it parameters!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
