Teaser rates/ no interst in withdrawal month

Accounts with one or both the features mentioned in the title do not appeal to me . The former type does not because I do not want the hassle ( in 70s now) of changing account every so many months to chase the next teaser, and the second because a sudden need or two can soon make the choice a bad one.
Where these days can I find accounts that give a good but sound rate througout? A teaser will only be acceptable if a fall back rate from the co is likely to be superior too,
Ideas folks?:D

So no ideas? Is everyone for taking the teaser rates then having the hassle of changing?

Even more annoying I find the super high rates (some around the 10% being advertised now), that when you read on involve only a small max amount of investment, or a small maximum monthly contribution, and are in turn conditional on taking out a standard current account of some sort which pays minimal interest.0

........I'm sure the 'no interest in a month when cash is withdrawn' rates must work against the bank/BS involved as whilst I will use these (First Direct recently for example), when I want to withdraw some cash I will clear the whole account at the start of the month (putting what I don't need elsewhere) to avoid losing interest.0

and http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-accounts-best-interest#topaccountsThe highest paying clean account by a significant margin is Kaupthing Edge* which pays 6.5% AER as long as you have over £100 in the account. It also has the best rate guarantee, promising to be at least 0.30% higher than the Bank of England base rate until 1 February 2012, meaning it’ll be a high, if not always top, payer until then.
