Looking to open a new Bank account
DEATH-A-LOT
I'm looking to open a new bank account that has onlin banking as standard, with a minimum or preferably no monthly charge for using the service. It would also be very beneficial if i can open it with no deposit right now as i would need to open it with nothing and get work to pay into the new account within a week or so. Also it would be usefull if it is easy to add a new person to account ie a joint account.
Many thanks in advance,

Been using Lloyds TSB for many many years, good service, and the Internet Banking facilities are very good IMO.0

Or go with Alliance and Leicester and get the £50 cashback to boot. First Direct also get excellent recs for customer service.QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D0

All accounts look good but i'm not sure which one to plump for.
I now have another question.
My partner is only 17 (turning 18 on Friday). Can i open a joint account today with her details, or do i have to wait untill friday? Or can i open one in my name today and get my partner added to the account in a couple of days?0
