It is possible to do this, you need to copy the .pst file from the old computer to the new one, I have done it and it worked.
I am sure one of the master techies will be back with an explanation but if not I will reply later with full instructions ( I am a bit busy with work stuff right now and deadlines are pressing!)0 -
Hi,
If you have an older version of Outlook, make sure you back up your Personal Address Book too. The file will have the extension .PAB.
You don't want to loose all those great Money Saving Expert contacts do you :rotfl:
Good luck!0 -

Now do you want to have a look at your account on the old PC
or do you want access from your new PC so you can see if youve
got any recent emails that have gone to an old email address..0 -
aonther good way to move your emails from old pc to new is to put all the ones you want to keep into a personal folder on a flash drive. You can then open the personal folder on the new computer..0

Just to confirm, are you talking about Outlook or Outlook Express? Instructions above (pst files) relate to Outlook. If you have Outlook Express you need to look for dbx files with names such as Inbox.dbx, Outbox.dbx.0

For Outlook.
1) Export
2) To a File.
3) .pst (personal folder file)
4) tick the include subfolders box
5) Duplicate options, experiment to see which suits best.
6) Then import folders file (the .pst) on new pc
Outlook Express
Try this software

importing and exporting is a bit long winded when you can just copy the .pst file over.0
