adsl router on dial up?

Hi all,
until my ASDL line is put on can the wireless router be used to dial up a normal dial up account or is it completely different.

It's completely different..... You can buy routers that include regular dial-up modems - but they're few & far between, and the Netgear 834 isn't one of them.There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
Aldi did have a ADSL router on offer a while ago which also had standard dial up in. Can't remember if it was wireless though. Might be worth checking out a few of your local branches.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:
