Hotel or B&B in Belfast?

Can anyone recommend a decent place for my parents to stay at for a few nights? East Belfast if possible.

  • Stormont Hotel, Upper Newtownards Road. East Belfast. On a main bus route into Belfast if that is important. Tel 028 9065 1066

Ivanhoe, Saintfield Road, Carryduff. A bit out of the way. Tel: 028 9081 2240

La Mon, Gransha Road, Castlereagh. Really need a car for this one. 028 9044 8631

Park Avenue Hotel. In the heart of East Belfast. Tel: 028 9065 6520

Is that enough to be going on with? If you need more just ask.

The Park Avenue would probably be the best value for money and the meals are of gargantuan proportions.
  • Thanks for the info. Take it there are no decent B&B's then?

Haven't been myself, but try having a look on Trip Advisor, where you can key in the destination and it gives personal reviews on both hotels and b&b's along with costs.

    Hope that helps.

Not very many B&B's in East Belfast billybob. Best one is:-
    Ashfield, 383 Holywood Raod. 02890295444.
Close to City Airport, hope this helps.

Only one problem, does not have en-suite AFAIK (but please check) and therefore may not be suitable.

We stayed in Holiday Inn Express last year for three nights (which is close to the University, I don't know if it close to where you want), they also had a 3 for 2 offer, which worked to a pretty good price, and the room was not bad either. :o
  • The hilton in the city centre is almost always cheaper than the hastings hotels (stormount, europa etc) and I always recommend booking through their website.. It's not in east belfast but it's one of the closer to it

The Benedicts hotel is excellent and is a great location. We stayed b/b and the breakfast was brilliant.

Also we have for a extra fiver a exceutive suite with jacuzzi and king size bed.

    Take a look
