Underfloor Heating

We are about to install underfloor heating in our new kitchen. We currently have electric underfloor system in our bathroom but since the kitchen is approximately 20 square metres we intend to put in a hot water system so that it can plumb into our central heating system and hopefully be cheap to run. My other half has looked at Polypipe but I don't think that he has really look at any other systems. Which system is the best?

It depends on your boiler and then how you want to control it. There are a number of ways and the price varys quite a bit. To do it on the cheaper side we used polypipe pipe and connected this to the CH, BUT installed a seperate Thermostat for the kitchen and a 2 way valve, as the underfloor is likely to be on a lot longer than the regular CH. In addition we used some control valves from Danfoss to put on the exit of the underfloor heating, these keep the heat in check and shut off if the temperature gets too high.0
