How do I connect the 2? I have been told its so simple - just connect the cables and it works - only it doesnt!

what cable are you connecting them with? are you sure your tv supports pc connection?0

I dont know what the cables are called! I have 2 different ones.
1 has a single black connector at one end and at the other it has 1 red and 1 black.
The other lead looks to be the same at both ends. round with little prong bits inside!

the main thing is the PC graphic card . do you know which type it is or is it onboard (psrt of the motherboard)..
Once you know the output choice you have from your PC - then you need the right adapter to go to the TV.
(My graphics card came with small yellow adapter which plugged into the S-Video output on the card. Toether with the audio output they all go into connect into a EuroAV lead - which plugs into the back of the TV)Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0 -

Does your TV have a connection like the one your PC does for the monitor?I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0
