Buying new Local number to then divert to Mobile. Cheapest option/website?

Hello, I am looking at getting an 01276 ****** number as I start a local business. I may be moving house in the future so I am thinking of buying a local number I can divert to my mobile phone off the internet, instead of getting a landline, for advertising purposes. I have seen websites such as www.planetnumbers.co.uk who can do this for me, but they seem a tad expensive, and wondered if anyone had done anything similar, possibly with a cheaper website. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much in advance!

www.coms.com or www.orbtalk.co.uk provide such numbers Free, plus Free Voicemail, all you need to do is buy some credit to pay for diverted part of call.
  • I don't really want VoIP, so far the best deal I have found is £25 initial setup charge, no monthly line rental, 14p per min to my mobile (2p UK landline) at www.ttnc.co.uk Is this hte best out there? Thanks

They require a minimum top up of £25 and deliver the calls exactly the same way to your mobile as the two i mentioned.
( All use Virtual Numbers that are connected to providers switch, and are not attached to a physical Phone Line or to a Local Exchange.) You control the divert in all cases from their switch to the destination of your choice. The only difference is the two i mention dont charge a set up fee,and offer cheap top ups if you want to try it out,and both offer cheaper calls.
