Help me with the Really Inportant letter

just checked my uni email and the course leader has replied to my email and said that I handed my EC's in very late (she only replied on Monday to my email saying that the board met on Tuesday and I handed them in at 10.30 on Tuesday morning!) and that there was no evidence in the envelope (I clearly stated that I had requested this and would get it to them as soon as possible).
They seem to be aiming to make me feel as bad as possible and get at me all the time.

Reply nice & politely, in fact forward her email about the meeting back to her, so she realises how little notice you had. And state again that you will provide the evidence as soon as you have received it.
Don't take it personally, it's isn't a dig at you, it's just their process.0 -
thanks I sort of know that but it just makes me think they have already decided and theyre building up to justifying refusing it. Ive tried to be as light as possible with her in my reply and said that I will collect the evidence tommorrow and get it to them as soon as possible adding that I would have liked to do it today but I sprained my ankle (I swear Im jinxed) I havent been able to walk so will hopefully be able to do it tommorrow.
I should have said its cos I can get a lift tommorrow and not today so I will only have to hobble into the Dr's and then back to the car and then into the dept building rather than implying that I am expecting miraculous improvements in a day or maybe its not that serious cos it definitely is - in fact its agony!
Ive also explained that I spoken the Student support and they say I need to speak to the the counsellor who only works Thursday/Fri and so will go in tommorrow but may have to wait until Friday.

I sprained my ankle there once, I hobbled from whitendale down to the health centre swearing with every footstep
Good luck with it, the worst part's over now, the EC was a black cloud hanging over my head till I finally finished writing it and handed it in.0
